And I still think it’s not at all….
..’cause I can’t.
I had this badass professor in med school. She seemed invincible. Then, one day, she needed her gallbladder out and the surgery killed her. Her platelets stopped clotting. She bled out on the table. Everything that could have gone wrong, did go wrong. Surgeons have a name for it. We call it a perfect storm. Funny, never thought it would happen to me.
There’s an end to every storm. Once all the trees have been uprooted. Once all the houses have been ripped apart. The wind will hush. The clouds will part. The rain will stop. The sky will clear in an instant and only then, in those quiet moments after the storm, do we learn who was strong enough to survive it.
You know what the greatest tragedy is in the whole world? (…) it’s the people who never find out what it is they really want to do or what they’re really good at. It’s all the sons who become blacksmiths because their fathers were blacksmiths. It’s all the people who could be really fantastic flute players who grow old without ever seeing a musical instrument, so they become bad plowmen instead. It’s all the people with talents who never even find out. Maybe they are never even born in a time when it’s even possible to find out
So… I decided of doing a giveaway…
I would like to give a copy of love lust faith and dreams to one lucky person.
As I pre-ordered the normal album version before
(and then the deluxe edition which I already have now and I have to say it’s amazing! :))it would be unneccessary of having two…
The story of my life!
